Medical Device Job Title: Cost Accountant
Location: Commerce, TX
Salary: $60000 - $72000
TECHNICAL SKILLS
1. - Accounting or Finance Bachelors Degree from a four-year collage
or university.
2. 3-5 years experience in manufacturing accounting. Cost accounting experience
is a plus.
3. Able to develop problem-solving skills, identify unusual transactions,
events or trends in analysis generated.
4. Candidate must possess the drive to grow professionally.
5. Proficiency in documentation and spreadsheet software packages.
Will review daily monthly inventory transactions and coordinates any
corrections with production. Prepares monthly and annual inventory journal
entries. Responsible for continuous improvement in the accuracy of the
BPCS routings, work centers, and departments that will enable increased
utilization of BPCS for capacity planning and increased accuracy of costing.
Assists with monthly forecasts, annual budgets, cost estimates and other
financial planning.
