Our client is a dynamic, $10 Billion Medical Products company,
seeking an energetic, self-motivated Product Manager to
report directly to a Vice President, for a $40 M product
line. This Product Manager will also supervise an Associate
Product Manager for a $28M category, offering a unique opportunity
in a leadership role for a person with 3 - 4 years of related
industry experience. The Product Manager will manage the
profitability of the category. Major responsibilities include
developing and implementing marketing strategies to grow
the business, identifying and establishing new market and
product opportunities, forecasting and planning inventory
requirements, designing and creating necessary sales tools,
and working closely with a large sales organization.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree is a must; Proficiency in Microsoft Word,
Excel and Powerpoint; Ability to establish priorities and
manage multifunctional projects; Strong communication and
interpersonal skills; Demonstrated analytical and project
management skills; 3-4 years in sales or marketing of medical
products.

QUALITY ENGINEER
Reporting directly to the Quality Assurance Manager, an
immediate position exists for a Quality Engineer with a
training emphasis. The applicant will be fully responsible
for the plant training with expectations to include:
Assessing the current training system in place
Developing/refining the training system to incorporate a
robust system of training with emphasis on establishing
proficiency of all job functions within the plant.
Establishing plant training matrices that define individual
tiered training levels of proficiency.
Coordinating training of manufacturing personnel to establish
mechanical aptitude
Maintaining training records for all plant personnel
Participating in plant audits and audit activities
Performing plant internal audits.
Undertake special projects as needed
Qualifications:
BS Degree In Engineering, Working Knowledge of Compliance
Suite, Compliance Wire and Eduneering preferred. Experience
in a FDA regulated industry preferred.

PROCESS ENGINEER
This position supports the manufacturing operation under
the direction of the Production Manager. The process engineer
is primarily responsible for leading/supporting multiple
projects and acting as the technical resource to the area
Manufacturing Manager.
Interfaces with R&D, customers, marketing and vendors
to discover and trial new raw materials or production processes
with the intent of improving performance or quality, reducing
cost, and improving uptime.
Ensure compatibility between process capability and finished
product specifications.
Trouble shooting of manufacturing processes
Six Sigma Projects
Process Maps, Cause & Effects Matrix (C&E), Failure
Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA)
Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Statistical Analysis
using Minitab
Lean Manufacturing Projects
Kaizen Events, Kanban, Poka-Yoke
Identify and understand safety concerns and ensure they
are not introduced to the production floor
Validation Projects
IQ, OQ, PQ, and Test Method validation protocols and reports.
General understanding of ISO and FDA requirements and sample
plans
Root Cause Analysis to determine potential solutions based
on risk, cost, and time.
Writes and Executes Trials to test new materials and new
concepts
Technical resource to superintendents, supervisors, operators,
and technicians in regards to machines, process, test equipment,
and general manufacturing techniques.
Identify machine/equipment improvements and latest market
technology
Write Capital Expenditure Request (CERs) to obtain capital
for various types of projects
Interface with R&D and marketing to develop new products
Writes and/or updates all documentation used on the production
floor in the manufacturing of product, including process
SPIs, general SPIs, and lab SPIs,
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Industrial or Mechanical
Engineering.
Experience: One to Three years manufacturing experience
Preferred Skills/Qualifications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint,
Project, Access, Lean and Six Sigma tools and implementation
techniques.
Skills/Competencies: Project Management skills
Vision Systems eperience
PLC experience
Automation experience
Working knowledge of quality system regulations, GMPs and
ISO requirements
Ability to lead and facilitate teams
Must be a change agent
Good verbal and written communication skills
Ability prioritize and a fast-paced, changing environment
Solid trouble shooting skills
